MISSION

Project Lifesaver International (PLI) helps provide rapid response to save lives and reduce potential for serious injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, Autism, Down Syndrome, dementia and other related disorders.  PLI provides equipment, training, certification and support to law enforcement, public safety organizations and community groups which operate the Project Lifesaver program in their communities.  PLI has over 1,000 participating agencies across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, and has performed over 1,900 searches in the last 10 years with a 100% success rate.

GRANT FUNDING

Grant funding is available for public safety agencies wishing to implement the Project Lifesaver® Program. This grant focuses on localities that have high numbers of autistic children or who can identify a need.
